Aloe Vera

What does it do?

Aloe vera contains 75 potentially active components, it is rich in vitamins and minerals including A, C and E which are antioxidants that fight free radicals. This ingredient is a powerful skin hydrator and is a well-known calming and soothing ingredient.

Where does it originate from?

Aloe Vera is naturally derived from the Aloe plant, a succulent which grows in Africa, Europe, Asia and America.

When should I use it?

This ingredient can be used day and night. It's also great for sunburn and to soothe irritated skin. 

What skin type is it best suited to?

Aloe vera is suitable for all skin types. If you have blemish-prone skin, Aloe vera is a great non-comedogenic hydrator.

What does it work well with?

Aloe vera will work well alongside any ingredient, hence why we use it in so many of our formulations!

What else do I need to know?

This ancient ingredient has been used in skincare and beauty regimes dating as far back as the Egyptian era!
