Ingredient Glossary
Avocado Oil
What does it do?
Avocado Oil is rich in vitamins A, E, B1, B2 & D, which help to renew the skin and provide antioxidant protection. The skin readily absorbs it, and the fatty acids help to create a water-resistant barrier, protecting the skin against water loss. Furthermore, it has calming properties and has been shown to support collagen production, which, as a result, helps increase skin elasticity.
Where does it originate from?
Avocado Oil is derived from Avocados, a native Mexican fruit.
When should I use it?
This ingredient can be used day and night.
What skin type is it best suited to?
Avocado oil is good for all skin types but particularly beneficial to those with drier or sensitive skin due to its moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties.
What does it work well with?
It works well with Hyaluronic Acid to help protect against water loss and Panthenol to soothe irritated skin.
